My wedding will feature the ubiquitous candy buffet. I can't help it. They look like so much fun, and, as I've mentioned, I have a raging, debilitating addiction to sugar.
The only thing left to decide... Do I introduce some color to our black and white themed wedding?

I would definitely add color, maybe just in the candy though. Add color to the table cloth, name plates, but leave the clear jars and white as well.

The table with white candies only looks very classy, but I think that some colors wont hurt.

I say color! I recked my brain trying to find all black and white candy(thats what I had, at my wedding)...and to be honest...the flavors of black and white candy sux!
If I had to do it again, I'd do all retro candys! Like bottle caps, gum balls, razzles, etc!

On your question I am torn! I think adding color makes the display look fun and you'll have more options in terms of candy. But there is something so elegant about the all white. Conclusion = I am of absolutely no help.
Ahem: as a fellow candy buffet-er, I refuse to admit to "lemming". If we can call "blatantly copying" an "homage", then surely ...?
Of course, lemmings are cute & furry, so maybe that's not so terrible, after all.
I really think that an awesomely colorful candy bar would be a great extra punch to a black and white wedding!
Colors! They really pop in photos, but also because people love cherry, green apple, etc.
A little bit of color in the form of candy could be fabulous! Yummy! If you love sugar, I saw somewhere doing an old fashioned soda table too.. All vintage looking glass bottles, all colors (Orange sodas, Squirt, Grape). It looked fun!

I think a pop of one color mixed with some white and black would be great. Like black, white and red; or black, white and pink.
