Mr. Diagnosis Deferred and I took engagement photos, of course. 7 days before the wedding, specifically. 'Cause I'm a fly by the seat of my pants kind of gal.... But that's another post.
Some naysayers have asked me "What are you going to do with engagement photos?" And, until now, I didn't have a great answer for them. I really considered them an excuse to dress up, traipse through the city and get lots of fun shots. We don't plan to stop in more than one spot between the ceremony and the reception, so this was my chance!
But now, I've got a much better idea. Use the best shot on the front of a custom greeting card or as a custom postcard. How fun does that sound?

This is great, we're getting engagement pics taking in October I think. I would like to use them either for xmas cards or thank you cards for the wedding.
I have planned all along to do postcards for our "thank you" cards. I figured we can hold up a cool sign in the pictures. But we are having a small wedding so I would probably also use some for my Christmas cards to send to everyone. The options are endless, so I know we could do something really creative!

This is awesome! We would use the cards to make postcards as a thank you card. I love post cards the the less waste of paper fits in with our semi green planning
I just love to send snail mail... for no reason at all. I would have the perfect excuse to drop a note to someone now and then!
I agree with Kristen... I adore hand writing letters and notes. I would love to have some cards like these to surprise a few awesome friends and family with cute little notes.
I would LOVE to be able to make some thank yous that were obviously from US, not just from ME. Photo thank yous would be amazing - although not in our budget, so winning would be wonderful!

oh man...can't decide! I think they would be perfect as Xmas cards with our engagement pics...or Thank-You cards after our wedding with one of my favorite pics! Either way they would be awesome!

These are so fun!! I would use these cards, to send to my friend that is fighting over seas. As great as a letter is, I think a photo card will really help him get through the hard times over there.

I would make photocards of my best boy and find an excuse to send random cards to everyone I know...(and with 250, I'd come up with a lot of excuses!)
