Our first dance!

Since the first time I heard it, I knew this was the song. It was a battle talking Mr. Diagnosis Deferred out of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'," but in the end, I prevailed. It's particularly perfect because our band has two female back-up singers. I.can't.wait!

oh I love this song!! I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate it into our wedding also, since our first dance is already decided. This song is so great and classic sounding. the first time I heard it, it sounded old and familiar, ya know?

I have been thinking about that song too! The Aussie and I are bickering like mad over "First Dances" - I am definitely trying to go Ray LaMontaigne/Jack Johnson then The Aussie is in one corner wanting stuff like Leona Lewis (personally I can't stand her) and then I have my MOTHER trying to get me to dance to oldies.

Boo... I'm back at work and the corporate internet police will only show me a big white screen. What's the song?!?!

And per Maria's comment, a RL song is in strong contention for me, too. :-)

I love Ray so much! and I'm afraid that I'm going to have the same "No Journey at the wedding, please!" conversation with my beloved.

Oh, of course! Make no mistake about it, I think "DSB" is one of the greatest songs of.all.time. I am compelled to sing it terribly and at the tops of my lungs everytime I hear it (luckily it's usually in a loud bar). But, as my first dance song? Notsomuch.

Our similarities continue - we were *this close* to dancing to this song! And I was also going to buy tickets to see him last year, but he was in town while we were on our honeymoon.
