Simply Bloom

I have been actively stalking SimplyBloom Photography for many months now. Their blog is phenomenal and full of images that give me the chills. Literally.
How fabulous are these images? There's nothing about them that says "traditional engagement photos." They look like they belong in the center of a trendy magazine.



If I were in Alabama, there's no doubt, these ladies would be my photographers.
Balloons and bubble gum? Are you kidding? They are clearly after my heart.

Jamie of the etsy shop Blue Clara created ours and obviously, she is fabulous. She's the best deal in town and didn't seem even mildly annoyed by my neurotic requests.

Public Transportation

When you live in NYC, you become accustomed to spotting celebrities. You see them in restaurants, on the street, at Starbucks... no big deal. Today, however, I experienced a first. I saw one getting on the subway! Kudos for taking the train with the rest of us little people, Carson.

Reason #419928 that my photographer is a bad-ass

He's much more than just a wedding photographer... In fact, he's just returned from a trip to a leper colony in Ethopia where he took stunning photos.
