Are you kidding?

The Olympics, Westminster Dog Show and American Idol all on the same night.  Is this some kind of sick joke?  I'm hyperventilating already.  When I say my prayers tonight I'll be thanking baby Jesus for DVRs.

Oh, and don't think for a second that I've forgotten that it's fashion week.  I'm closely monitoring every moment.  More on that later.

Everyone who knows me knows that I am desperate for a dog. I mean, really and truly desperate. I don't even live in a pet-friendly building, so it's a bit of a moot point, but I lament it nonetheless.

The main issue between David and I is dog-size. He's a "big dog" guy and I'm a "little dog" girl. Maybe one day we'll have a pent house on Central Park West with enough room for many dogs of all shapes and sizes!
